Yesterday was a very brisk morning but we still had a really good amount of students join us for the Garden Club. We’ve noticed during the last three garden club mornings that the amount of students coming is significantly increasing! Our plants are steadily ripening so we’ve been able to have vegetable tastings each Friday this month. We harvested our two huge cauliflowers and the majority of kids tried them and took the leftovers home. We also picked carrots, beets, peas, broccoli, tomatoes and kale! The last few minutes before the bell rang, butterfly Amy guided the students to the native garden where they released a butterfly that had just come out of its chrysalis.
